Leadership Research and Review employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process. All manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial team for suitability and then sent to at least two independent expert reviewers. The identities of both reviewers and authors are kept confidential throughout the review process.
The journal follows ethical guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure integrity in all published research.
Leadership Research and Review is committed to supporting the dissemination of high-quality research while maintaining accessibility for authors. To cover operational costs, the journal applies the following fee structure:
Submission Fee: There is no charge (IDR 0) for submitting an article.
Publication Fee: If an article is accepted for publication, a publication fee of IDR 750,000 will be charged to the author(s). This fee contributes to the costs of peer review management, editing, formatting, and online hosting.
Payment Details:
- Payment instructions will be provided upon article acceptance.
- The publication fee must be paid before the article is published.

Leadership Research and Review utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archival systems to create permanent archives for preservation and restoration. This ensures that all digital content remains available to readers even if the journal ceases operation or loses access to its primary archives.
Founded in 2021 by a group of management and leadership academics from STIE Indonesia Jakarta, Leadership Research and Review was established to provide a dedicated platform for cutting-edge research on leadership theories and practices, particularly in the Indonesian and Southeast Asian context. Starting as a biannual publication, the journal has grown into a recognized periodical serving researchers and practitioners at national and regional levels.
Leadership Research and Review is published by Bagian Publikasi dan Penerbitan STIE Indonesia Jakarta (Publication and Publishing Division of STIE Indonesia Jakarta). The journal does not accept external commercial funding or display advertisements. All operational costs are supported by the publisher and transparently managed article processing charges to ensure sustainability and publication quality.
